Cat People (1982)

The Cat People originated long ago, when humans sacrificed their women to Leopards, who then mated with them. Cat People look similar to humans, but must mate with other Cat People. We follow a brother and sister - who seem to be the only ones of their kind left
Hmmm kinda makes you wonder.
Company of Wolves, The (1985)
Starring:
Angela Lansbury,
Sarah Patterson
Director: Neil Jordan

Really weird movie, not gory or scary, but not a kid's movie either. Angela Lansbury tells her granddaughter wolf stories, that are really dragged out way too long. I fell asleep during the first <yawns> 10mins of this one.
Critters (1986)
Starring:
Dee Wallace Stone,
M. Emmet Walsh

Furry little creatures from another world eat their way through a small mid-western. Cheap Gremlins rip-off. It has all the comedy of Gremlins too.
Critters 2:

Starring:
Jeff Goldblum,

A great remake of the classic. A scientist working on teleportation, attempts to teleport himself but as he does, a fly enters one of the transmission booths and he turns into a 6 foot insect. Fine performance by Goldblum.

Your Sister is a Werewolf
(1985)

Very stupid movie. Set in Transylvania where Stefan Crosscoe and his sister Stirba head up a family of werewolves. Christopher Lee makes this worth seeing though.
Howling III:
The Marsupials
(1987)
Starring:
Barry Otto,
Imogen Annesley
Director: Philippe Mora
Really low budget. Strange marsupials appear in Australia and a sociologist who studies these creatures falls in love with one of the females. Ooooooook!
Howling IV:
The Original Nightmare
(1988)
Starring:
Romy Windsor,

A remake of the original "Howling" only better, thank God. A female author who is isolated in a distant cabin, battles werewolves, including her boyfriend.
Howling V - the Rebirth (1989)

I saw this 3D version in the theater in '83 with goofy glasses and all. A group of marine biologists attempt to capture a great white shark that has wandered into Sea World. After they catch it they find out it's just a baby and that the shark's 35-foot mama is on the loose.
